Mary was the sister of Martha and Lazarus. To show her devotion and love for Jesus, she offered him an expensive present, worth a whole year’s wages! One of Jesus’ disciples, named Judas, was angry when this happened. He wanted to sell the oil and keep some of the money for himself. He didn’t love Jesus like Mary did.
