Parent can say: The sixth day of Holy Week is called “Good Friday.” On Good Friday, we remember the sacrifice Jesus made when He died on the cross. That doesn’t sound very good, but as believers, it’s a good thing because Jesus paid the punishment we deserve for sin, called death. Jesus loved us so much that he took the sins of the world upon himself, and willingly gave up his life for you and me!
